A very 'suitable boy' isn't suitable enough for private schooling

The other day, a senior teacher from a well known school called me looking for answers. It is obvious that many teachers who simply teach and do their best, don't really know how to fight the 'justice' battle.
For a while I also didn't know why she had thought of calling me of all people in Greater Noida.
A 'suitable boy' that could have been a 'winning' experiment for any private school was refused admission in every possible school of Greater Noida. The answer given was completely lacking emotion -'You should have come to us when he was ready for kindergarten. We could have molded him. Now, it is very difficult to give him education.'
The stark reality of this 12 year young youth of India is one- his parents are non-graduates striving to give a good education to the boy. He speaks workable English and has scored great numbers in his education in the public shanty schools in a nearby village. The school was razed and his education has been at stake.
A well established gentlemen wishes to educate him but cannot be his guardian. So the question- 'Does this promising youth of India does not deserve education just because his parents are non-graduates?' And this is all when someone isn't asking for free education.
I am now racking my brains and wondering how to arm twist the private schools who boast about wishing to add to Narendra Modi's Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan and cannot clean their own minds and find space for one child, who has atleast made it so far- ailing from an economically weaker section of society.
Indeed the future of our country is in dire straits. Why is no one willing to invest some energy and time on those who really yearn to study. Take away books from the ones who have never been deprived of education- and then see the turnaround.
Food for thought!!!!!
